Our Beliefs
We believe that the Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God and that it is the final authority for our lives (2 Timothy 3:16-17;  John 17:17).

We believe that man was created in God's image, but that Adam's sin in the garden of Eden has broken fellowship with God for all people, causing all people to become sinners (Romans 5:12, 3:23).

We believe that Jesus Christ became man without ceasing to be God.  He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary (Luke 1:35:  Galatians 4:4).

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ lived a sinless life and then died on the cross as a satisfaction for our sins (Colossians 2:13-15;  1 John 2:2).

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ arose bodily from the grave and is seated at God the Father's right hand (Acts 2:32-33;  Ephesians 1:20).

We believe that salvation is the gift of God by grace and is received by true faith in the Lord Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9;  1 John 5:10-13).

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ has given His people the ordinances of baptism and the Lord's Supper to be observed by His Church in remembrance of His Person and work (Matthew 28:18-20; 1 Corinthians 11:23-28).

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ will come back to earth in glory and honor and will reign with those who love Him (Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 1:10).

The Apostles' Creed

I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth.

And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord;

Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,

Born of the virgin Mary,

Suffered under Pontius Pilate,

Was crucified, dead and buried.

On the third day, He rose again from the dead.

He ascended to heaven,

And sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty;

From thence He will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,

The holy universal church,

The communion of saints,

The forgiveness of sins,

The resurrection of the body,

And the life everlasting.

* a brief explanation of the Apostles' Creed
Christians have  often used creeds, such as the one above, to publicly declare their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.  These statements are biblical, concise, and summarize the basic Christian faith.
